Coaching for the person everyone else reports to
For chief executives, founders, and the presidents and general managers who run a whole business. Our most experienced coaches, selected for you by our Head of Coaching, in a confidential engagement built around your calendar.
- Coaches with 20+ years at the executive level
- Your coach is chosen for you by our Head of Coaching
- Strict confidentiality. Nothing is reported to your board or team.
- 60-minute sessions, with access between them
Led by our Head of Coaching, Linda Lutz.
Built for the top seat
For the person who makes the final call and has no peer inside the company.
Chief executives
You answer to a board, investors, or an owner, and everyone else answers to you. A coach gives you one place to think out loud with someone who has no stake in the outcome.
Founders scaling past themselves
The company has outgrown the founder playbook. The job is now leading leaders, and that takes different habits than building did.
Incoming and first-time CEOs
Your first hundred days set expectations for years. Work through the stakeholder map, the early decisions, and the operating rhythm before you are living inside them.
CEOs at an inflection point
Succession, a sale, a turnaround, a board change, or the question of your own next chapter. Worked through privately, with a plan.
What changes when the client is the CEO
Fewer than 1% of coaches make our bench. This tier adds four things on top of that standard.
The most experienced coaches on our bench
Only coaches who have operated at the executive level themselves, with 20+ years of experience and hundreds of senior engagements behind them.
Your coach is chosen in conversation
CEO engagements begin with a call. Our Head of Coaching chooses your coach based on your company, your board situation, and how you like to work.
Board-level confidentiality
Sessions stay between you and your coach. Nothing is reported to your board, your investors, or your team. If the company sponsors the engagement, we set the boundaries with you first.
Built around a CEO calendar
Sixty-minute sessions on the cadence that fits your operating rhythm, and access to your coach between sessions when a decision cannot wait.
What CEOs bring to their coach
Usually the two or three decisions that will define the year, and how to make them well.
Your coach has worked at the executive level and has coached hundreds of senior leaders through decisions like these. The work is confidential and candid, and it moves at the pace of your operating rhythm.
Typical focus areas
- Board and investor relationships, including the conversations that decide your mandate and your runway
- Building and upgrading the executive team, including succession
- Decision quality when every option is expensive
- The founder-to-CEO transition: from doing the work to leading the people who do it
- Communicating to the whole company, the board, and the market
- Pace and judgment over a multi-year tenure
- Exit and succession, planned rather than improvised

What CEOs ask before they start
How is CEO Coaching different from your Leadership & Executive Coaching?
The coach and the process. This tier is limited to our most experienced coaches, each with executive-level experience and hundreds of senior engagements, and your coach is chosen for you in a conversation with our Head of Coaching rather than by the quiz.
Who are the coaches at this tier?
A small group from the senior end of our bench, led by our Head of Coaching, Linda Lutz. Each has 20+ years of experience and a track record with C-suite and founder clients. Their profiles are on this page.
Is this only for CEOs of large companies?
No. Founders running a growing company, presidents, general managers with full P&L responsibility, and incoming CEOs all fit. The test is whether you make the final call and have no peer inside the company.
How confidential is it?
Completely. Nothing you discuss reaches your board, investors, or team. If your company sponsors the engagement, we agree on the boundaries with you up front, and the content of your sessions is never shared.
What does the first conversation involve?
Thirty minutes by phone or video. We ask about your company, the situation you are in, and what a good outcome looks like. If we are the right fit, we recommend a coach. If we are not, we say so.
Start with a private conversation
Thirty minutes with our team. We listen, tell you whether this tier fits, and choose your coach.
- Confidential. Nothing reaches your board or your team.
- A coach chosen for you by our Head of Coaching
- First session usually within the week
