  • Account and profile data — name, email address, phone number, and professional background when you register or create a coaching profile.
  • Assessment and quiz responses — answers to career-assessment questions, personality-type indicators, goals, and salary expectations.
  • Coaching session content — notes, action plans, and communications shared between you and your coach within the platform.
  • Payment information — billing details collected and processed by our PCI-compliant payment processors. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
  • Communications — messages sent to our support team, survey responses, and feedback you submit.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage data — pages visited, features used, session duration, clicks, and navigation paths within our site.
  • Device and browser data — IP address, browser type and version, operating system, screen resolution, and referring URLs.

Information from third parties

  • OAuth sign-in providers — if you choose to sign in with LinkedIn or Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from that provider.

We process your data on the legal bases of contractual necessity (to deliver the services you requested), legitimate interests (to improve and protect our platform), legal obligation, and consent where required.

  • Your assigned coach — your profile information and assessment results are shared with the coach you are matched with so they can serve you effectively.

Coaching session notes are retained for the duration of your coaching relationship and for a reasonable period thereafter to support follow-up and continuity. You may request deletion of session content at any time.

9. Children's Privacy

Realign's services are intended for individuals who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at hello@realigncoaching.org and we will delete that information promptly.

10. International Data Transfers

Realign operates primarily in the United States. If you access our services from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S., where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country. Where required by applicable law, we implement appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect data transferred internationally.
