About Christine
Christine Allen has spent over 18 years empowering individuals to find their purpose and pursue their vision through career counseling at Penn State University, PA CareerLink, a community college, and in private practice. She is recognized for her genuine care, deep professionalism, and commitment to inclusive, culturally competent career counseling — including dedicated initiatives to increase career mobility for underrepresented groups.
Her areas of expertise include self-discovery, resume and LinkedIn profile development, uncovering the hidden job market, interview preparation, and ethically leveraging AI in career pursuits. Her empathetic, encouraging style is rooted in her counselor training and her own career transition — she made a deliberate move from a first career in Information Technology into counseling, giving her firsthand insight into the courage and strategy a meaningful pivot requires.
Christine holds an Associate's in Information Technology, a Bachelor's in Human Performance Management, and a Master's in Pastoral Counseling. She is an MBTI Certified Practitioner, a Certified Career Services Provider (CCSP), and a Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF). Clients consistently credit her with reducing career-related anxiety and boosting the confidence they need to move forward.
